A gorgeous 20th Century mahogany long stool of exceptional quality and finely hand carved with rich patination and beautiful grain. The cushioned seat of rectangular form is upholstered in a stunning cream fabric with a gorgeous richly scrolling foliate design, raised over a well figured simple and moulded frieze with centred foliate detail flanked with scrolls. Supported on elegantly tapering cabriole leg with a stunning arrangement of foliate and flowerhead motifs on knee, terminating on ball and claw foot.
