Description

A lovely 19th-century pine trunk. The trunk features a hinged lid that opens to reveal a neat interior with a candle box. Exposed dovetail joints are visible at the corners, and brass drop handles on the sides make it easy to carry. Raised on a plinth base and finished with a fresh coat of natural wax, adding a smooth, protective finish.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition with some signs of age. The piece shows surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches throughout. There are signs of woodworm, but it has been treated and is now long gone. The top shows scratches and splitting, all of which are shown in the photos.
