Antique Collectors 4 Drawer Chest, C1900 Butterflies and Mineral Specimens 30cm.

A charming 4 drawer collectors chest circa 1900 with an itemised collection of glass top drawers containing rare butterflies to 1 drawer and an extensive inventory of 34 itemised mineral rock specimens to the 3 drawers, to include Zinc Ore, Pyrite, Malachite, Scoridite etc..,

The collection is supplied with a typed inventory of the rock minerals only, described as the collection of T P Blake, probably typed circa mid 20th century.

The stained pine chest is in excellent structural condition with all drawers and handles operating and each with its sliding glass inspection tips. The chest has a number of timeworn scratches which add to its authenticity and character, easily wax polished over but we shall be selling as it is, allowing the buyer to decide.
