This superb Georgian Regency ink bottle would make an attractive display piece to dress a desk, or an alternative use would be as a scent bottle on a dressing table.
The body is of waisted form with bands of hobnails, which alternate with step cutting. The rim is flared and notch cut. The base is gently rounded and cut with a superb multi point star. The bottle retains the original mushroom stopper, cut to echo the base design. A wonderful example, typical of the Regency period and is both decorative and practical. Dimensions below.
