A superb, silver plated Victorian fish cutlery set dating to 1895.
Each blade is engraved with aesthetic movement fan form panels and has the year mark (1895), Anchor (Birmingham) and makers mark (L&W).

The forks have the same pattern and handles. The original mahogany box, which opens at the front, has a red silk and blue velvet interior and the dedication "Presented to R F Buck on the occasion of his marriage as a mark of esteem by his fellow employees in the cutting rooms Messers J Shannon & Sons Ltd, Walsall 1895"

A fantastic, high-quality set in superb condition.

Excellent, all knives and forks have tight handles with no damage, the box is clean internally with only a few minor scratches externally. Overall, in almost unused condition.
