The colour palette of shades of madder red with tones of indigo blue give the rug a warm earthy feel. The border is most unusual with a repeat diamond and X design. The rug retains the original kilim end finishes at both ends with a chevron design.The rug is in fair condition with wear and medium / low pile, there is some corrosion and scattered old re-weaves.
