Antique Regency Mahogany Clothes Press on Chest C1820 W6333/29.3

Description

Lovely antique regency quality mahogany clothes press on chest and dating from around 1820. It has a 1/4" bobbin frieze to the cornice making for an attractive feature above two moulded shaped and panelled doors with cross banded edges and a brass divide and with internal clothes rail. To the base there two short drawers over two long drawers all of which are oak lined with original knob handles and it is moulded to the base standing on bracket feet with shaped spanderals.

Top separates from the base for ease of transporting.

Measures: 84" high X 24" deep X 21" internal depth X 52" wide

In very good condition and of quality mahogany with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany feathering and oozing all the charm and character of the regency period.
