A Lovely Waxed Victorian Antique/old Pine 2 Piece Bookcase

This bookcase is in good condition. We have professionally stripped and restored it and then waxed it in a lovely antique brown bri wax giving it a stunning patina.

The bookcase would look well in an old or modern property in any room for storage of many books amongst similar antique pine furniture. The bookcase is in two pieces making it easy to move into a property.

The bookcase stands on a square plinth supporting the main section where there are two tall thin doors with one panel. Behind these doors there are two shelves. The shelves are fixed. The height of the bottom section is 31cm, the height of the middle section is also 31cm and the height of the top section is 28cm. The top sits neatly upon the base and is slightly set back having two tall thin glazed doors. Behind these doors are two shelves. The internal depth is 22cm. The shelves are adjustable. The top has a standard graduated cornice.

The height is 214cm, the width is 101cm and the depth is 43cm.

Shipping /delivery is equally as important to us as the item of furniture itself. It is simple; we deliver everything personally in England / Wales so this way we are 100% sure that the item / furniture reaches our customers safe and sound. We NEVER use couriers. Delivery is generally within 7-14 days of purchase. We guarantee delivery anywhere in England / Wales within 21 days of purchase.

Deliveries to Scotland as far north as Perth are guaranteed within 6 weeks of purchase. If delivery is required above Perth in Scotland please contact James on 07957 392 074 or

Deliveries are either carried out by David or James as one member of the team is required to stay in the warehouse, therefore we do require assistance from the van into your hallway with the item of furniture. We have set delivery days and once the van is loaded (a day prior to delivery) David will call customers to arrange a two hour delivery time slot. Customers will also receive a text when delivery is 30 minutes away.

It is really helpful if customers can provide their ‘what3words’ location to make delivery as smooth

as possible, especially properties in rural locations.

Ireland Deliveries

We do use a very good courier company called DVM Service to deliver goods to Ireland. We ask the customer to pay this company direct for the delivery charge and we then liaise with DVM regarding collection of a customer’s item of furniture to be shipped to Ireland.

Europe & Rest of the World

We do not ship to Europe or the Rest of the World.
