Beautiful Sterling Silver Love Heart Box Cherubs Fishing 1899 Antique Hanau

Description

A beautiful German Hanau antique solid sterling silver box. It is hallmarked with English import marks for Sheffield 1899 with the importers mark being Samuel Boyce (or Boaz) Landeck. It has been beautifully made being of heart form with cherub scenes to its lid and base with the inside being vibrant gilded with cherubs fishing. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and the lid closes tight. It measures approx. 2 inches (5.1cm) across by 1.75 inches (4.2cm) wide by over 0.75 inch (1.8cm) tall and weighs 34 grams. A beautiful piece.
