Technical Description
A superb 19th century engraved green glass decanter. Mell form with a wonderful narrow elegant neck and engraved with a fruiting vine around the main body. Polished pontil.
It comes with a 19th century ''Putto with a Dolphin'' gilded and cork stopper. The original Putto with a Dolphin sculpture was made for a fountain in the Medici Villa at Careggi, Italy by Andrea del Verocchio in 1465.
