Technical Description
A superb Scottish Whisky Bottle dating to c1820 which was made by the Alloa Glass works on the river Forth.
Dark green with white and blue speckled cells. Blade string knop and snapped pushed up pontil.
All of Scotland’s glass cones have been demolished except for this unused but preserved example. Alloa Glass Works was officially founded in 1767 to produce glass bottles, making it Scotland’s oldest functioning glasshouse and now the country''s only remaining glass bottle works.

Excellent, no chips cracks or restoration. Minor internal residue.
