Art Deco Glass Cocktail Decanter & Shaker C1930

Description

Technical Description

A fine Art Deco glass cocktail decanter and shaker dating to c1930. It has its original white and gilded hollow mushroom stopper with a gilded rim and matching decoration to the tapered body. Depending on the occasion and cocktail, it can be used as a decanter to hold and pour the cocktail, or indeed, if no sieve is required for fruit, then to mix and shake the cocktail as well. Just as versatile today as it was almost 100 years ago.

One of a number of superb examples from the amazing glass collection of John and Poppy Stallebrass.

Excellent, no chips, cracks or restoration. Clean and clear.
