This is a matched set of late Victorian solid sterling silver pepper pots.
The bullet pepper is hallmarked for London 1897 with the maker''s mark of the highly esteemed Sampson Mordan & Co. It features a simple, screw off weighted base. There are two small dings around top and it is otherwise excellent.
The cartridge pepper is hallmarked for London 1899 with the maker''s mark of Horace Woodward & Co Ltd. A simple cylinder again with screw off base and in a lovely condition.
