Fantastic Georgian mahogany bookcase in wonderful original antique condition. The bookcase separates into 2 sections which allows for easy transportation in and around your home. The top section has a wonderful swan neck pediment with satinwood inlay decoration sitting above 2 astragal glazed doors. Inside there are 8 fully adjustable shelves with original hinged leather and oak dust covers. The base has 2 panelled doors with shell and string decoration which open to 4 adjustable shelves and 4 oak lined drawers with original ring handles. Like all antiques there are some imperfections however this is a solid cabinet with gorgeous rich colouring with amazing graining. A striking piece of history that will not only display your books beautifully it will also provide storage for any over spill.
All measurements are done to the widest point .
