This Marriage Chest is a bright and colourful piece, the chest is in Fire Red and painted with large stylised chrysanthemum flowers

The chest has 4 carrying handles and has its own stand, the interior is very clean and lined in oriental print

This is an old piece and has some signs of a previous life, the box would make a very attractive coffee table, it is 32” long, 24” deep, 17” high on its stand
