Rare French Solid Silver Table Desk Bell C1890 Antique 82g

Description

A very unusual French solid silver desk or table bell. It is hallmarked with the 800 silver standard Minerva mark. I would date it t c1890. It ha been superbly cast in the form of what looks to be a colonial dancing girl in a dress made of feathers. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It rings well. It measures 4.25 inches (11cms) tall and weighs 82 grams. A beautiful piece.
