A fantastic pair of antique Victorian floor lamps. They were made in England, they date from around the 1880-1900 period.
They were probably originally large candle sticks that have been converted to electrical lamps. One is solid elm, the other is solid satin wood, one may be have been made to match at a slightly later stage. They are identical in size and design, both have a lovely colour tone and patina.
We have had them stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, they have been re-wired and are in good working order. We have also paired them with a lovely pair of modern cream shades.
Width base – 11 inches , 27 cm
Width shades – 14 inches , 36 cm
