This is a fine quality spoon made in Edinburgh in 1717 by James Tait assay master EP . It is in very good condition, good gauge, very fine bowl and rat tail. The hallmarks are very good . It is 19.5cms long and weighs a heavy 75 grams. It has period owners initials RY over EC.
