Superb Indian Solid Silver Village Scene Tube Box C1900 Antique 70g

Description

A beautiful rare solid silver Indian tube box. It is marked to the base but is difficult to decipher. I would date it to c1900. It has been beautifully hand made being embossed and chased with village scene and the lid engraved with initials. It is in superb condition being free from dings holes and repairs. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (8.8cm) tall by 1.5 inches (3.6cm) wide and weighs 70 grams. A superbly designed beautiful example.
