Large Antique Oval Amethyst Set Stick Pin Tests as 18ct Gold

Description

Beautiful large oval amethyst set stick pin. The amethyst is a large oval, faceted around the edge with a flat centre.

It is a lovely coloured stone with plenty of sparkle. The setting has a decorative edge and tests as 18ct gold on base metal pin with a decorative twist.

 

Period: Victorian

Condition: In lovely antique condition, and the pin is nice and straight.

 

Length including pin 7.6 cm Setting: 1.7 x 1.2 x 0.7 cm Weight 4.15 grams

Weights and measurements are approximate.

Declaration

Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
