Technical Description
 
An excellent 18th century Flammiform ale glass dating to c1740.
 
A conical bowl with tight wrythen rising from a swelling knop up through the bowl to fine multiple points. Conical foot.
 
This wrythen-technique differs from typical wrythen moulding as an extra layer of glass is used, giving a deeper texture and more definition.
 
Date & Origin
 
England, c1740. Period of George II.
 
Condition
 
Excellent, It has a tiny tooth mark on the inside rim (5pm on the rim pic) which insignificant. No chips, cracks or restoration.
