Impressive oak bookcase from the fabulous Victorian era complete with working key. This bookcase separates into 2 sections allowing for easy transportation to and around the home. The top section has a carved cornice with shaped carved pediment sitting on three glazed doors supported by 2 turned columns with scrolled bracket supports. The shelves inside the double doors and the single door are all fully adjustable which will accommodate any size of book of treasure you wish to display. The base has a two plank top and 3 chamfered panelled doors with a plinth base. The two doored cupboard has a single adjustable shelf and behind the third door has a bank of 4 graduating drawers. All the drawers run smoothly, constructed with dovetail joints and have brass handles.
