Pair of Continental bedside chests
This pair of Continental bedside chests with made Circa 1920.
The pair are made of Kingwood in a wonderful serpentine and bombe shape, with the elegant cabriole legs to each side that have cast brass mounts to the toes.
The 2 drawers are fitted the original cast brass handles and with the attractive herringbone banding, that is replicated to the sides that also have a diamond shaped inlay.
The tops have inset rouge marbles which adds to the delightful look of these, this helps if you have spillages and so no damage is done.
