Description

A large and very impressive antique alabaster table lamp, made in England and dating from the 1920’s.

This is a superb and rare item, carved from large solid pieces of alabaster. The shade is particularly impressive, it is made from three solid pieces, and it is quite amazing how it has been constructed. The carving is intricate and detailed, the alabaster has a lovely colour tone. The shade is supported by three iron supports.

The condition is excellent, with only some extremely minor wear here and there. We have had this re-wired, it is in good working order.

Height of shade – 14 inches , 36 cm
