A beautiful 18ct gold (tested) Georgian seal fob as used for using with wax to seal a letter or document. The gold fob has an attractive ornate design with sides comprising of featuring two circular floral panels which angle at the top towards the hanging loop. These panels each have a six petalled floral motif surrounded by leaves and with a turquoise set centre.
A faceted quartz / rock crystal seal is set into the octagonal base, which has a textured base and other engraved details.
A most attractive fob of good age, great as a gift for a letter writer or a collector of stationery items.
Condition: In lovely antique condition. One of the turquoise stones has a small crack, mentioned for accuracy.
