Early Silver Sherry Decanter Label by Charles Rawlings London 1819

Description

A Georgian silver decanter label engraved 'Sherry' . Neat border to the edge and hanging on a silver chain. Clear crisp hallmarks are visible on the back of the label for the London Assay Office with a date mark of 1819, Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and the maker's mark for the silvermaker: Charles Rawlings.

 

Condition: In lovely condition.

Hallmarks: London 1819 by Charles Rawlings.

 

Measurements: Height: 2.7 cm Width 4.8 cm Depth: 5mm Weight: 14.4 grams

Weights and measurements are approximate.
