This is a set of six Theresienthal enamelled wine glasses, manufactured in Bavaria, Germany, and dating from the early 20th century, c1910.
The glasses are in excellent condition for their age. They show minimal age related wear and tear commensurate with use.
The glasses measure 7.5 cm (3 inches) in diameter across the slightly everted bowl rims. The glasses are 20 cm (8 inches) in height. The bowls are enamelled with three square panels which each contain three yellow rose heads. They are connected by a gilded band and are also gilded to the bowl rims. The bowls are gently ogee in shape and lead to clear glass stems and conical feet which also measure 7.5 cm (3 inches) in diameter. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any evidence of restoration.
Each glass weighs 130 g. ( 4 1/2 oz.).
