A fine 19th century French Louis-Philippe period maple & mahogany bureau bookcase. Shaped moulded sides and cornice above a pair of shaped glazed doors with adjustable shelves, above a bureau section with three leather tooled sets, above the standard configuration of a central drawer and flanked by two drawers to each side, all raised on very elegant hexagonal tapering legs. A wonderful warm colour and patination to the wood. France c.1870
