It is in good condition and the pine has mellowed to an attractive colour over the years. It has been cleaned and given a smooth waxed finish, retaining its lovely aged patina. The shelves inside are generally clean and tidy although there are some old marks and stains.
There are some minor signs of historic worm which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically.
