A very fine pair of 19th century French ormolu d’appliques, wired for electricity, each with six branches, shaped with great naturalism to resemble lily stalks all tied together with a large bow. These fantastic fittings are made by the prestigious French maker Henri Picard who famously supplied works to Emperor Napoleon III of France. Each fitting is stamped and marked with makers mark for Henri Picard. Circa 1870.
In excellent condition throughout; converted to electricity and fully rewired in period style braided flex and PAT safety tested.
