An early 19th-century glass cream jug. It has an applied slice cut handle with a notch cut rim with an extended poring section. Prism cut neck above large slice cuts to the body. Circular star cut foot.

England, c1820. Period of George IV.

Condition

Excellent, age-related as shown.

Dimensions

Height: 13cm (top of handle) Diameter: 8cm (across middle).

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time George IV was crowned king of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland on the 19th of July 1821.
