This large earthenware vase dates from the Art Deco period of 1930 and belongs to the Falcon Ware “Misty Morn” design made in England. The globular body possesses a short, straight neck, a flat base, and a smooth, pale blue and grey glazed surface. Hand-painted decoration encircles the body, depicting mallard ducks in flight over water, framed by marsh reeds in shades of brown, green, and deep blue around the lower base.
