An Early Victorian Flame Mahogany Linen Press

The Press is a superb piece, the figuring of the mahogany is detailed with ebony mouldings on the front panels and also reeded ebony inlay and detail at the front corners, the cornice is highlighted with a pair of Lions on the front and wheat sheaves at the side these are all in cast brass

This is a large piece of furniture dating from around 1830, but it does comes into three pieces making it easier to transport, the cupboard sits on top of the chest of drawers and the elegant cornice sits on top

The spacious chest of drawers has two short drawers over two graduated long drawers and it stands on short turned feet.

The Linen Press still has all 3 of its original sliding shelves and is in good sound condition

When assembled the cupboard is 85"high, 51"wide and 23"deep
