Pair of high quality mid C19th mahogany bedside pedestal cupboards.

True pair of ‘handed’ figured mahogany panelled-door pedestal bedside cupboards attributed to the esteemed London cabinet-makers “Holland & Sons” .

The interiors each fitted with a single shelf , the brass-hinged doors retaining their original turned mahogany knob-pulls and brass closure fittings. The rectangular inset figured mahogany panels of the doors with moulded surrounds , the top and bodies with gently-rounded corners, the whole standing on rounded-corner plinth bases . Highest quality construction throughout, with mahogany panels to verso.

In excellent original ‘untouched’ condition with a rich colour and patina to the polished surface. Of practical height and scale with capacious interiors .
