Description

This is a good pair of Japanese Satsuma vases with finely hand painted details dating from the Meiji period, circa 1870. The pair are in excellent condition with images of sages and warriors painted in soft shades with raised detail to the decoration throughout. The colours are lovely with panels of floral blossom and decorative borders to the neck and base of the vases. The vases are in perfect condition with no damage or restoration and measure 15.5 cms in height.
