M.Jefferson Chemist & Druggist of Bank Street Rawtenstall, Lancashire around 1850. Made and stamped by the London makers, Treble & Son, Gloucester Street, Hoxton, London. Comprising of fifty drawers, all mahogany fronts with turned wooden handles and brass paper label holders. Stands well on turned mahogany feet, all in superb, condition. A really lovely example of an original North Country 19th century antique apothecary chest of great scale and with super provenance.
