Technical Description
A rare 19th-century French glass decanter with a classic Clichy latticinio (lattice) pattern associated with the glass factories'' early period. The blue and white vetro a fili swirls around the body and matching hollow stopper, each second white cane has been cased in blue to produce a more vibrant hue. An additional clear collar has been applied to the upper neck to finish. Large polished pontil to the base.
Clichy is known for an impressive production of glass paperweights, perfume bottles and smaller tablewares, larger pieces, especially housing their early pattern-work, are far rarer.

Excellent. No chips, cracks or restoration, clean and clear.
