A wonderful 19th C. Painted Pine Pigeon Hole Cupboard. This piece was made specifically for a country estate office by staff on the estate and retains it''s original green paint in places. There are a total of 35 compartments for storage and each section can slide out to adjust the width of the compartment. The tall doors have a good working lock and key and would have originally also had a padlocked latch on the front to keep the contents of the cupboard secure from other members of staff.
In good, solid order, with obvious wear to the paint finish.
It would make a great larder cupboard in a free standing kitchen or somewhere to store pots, pans, cooking utensils etc.
