Here we have a wonderful Arts and Crafts Oak bedside cabinet by Henry Barker Ltd of Angel Row Nottingham c1900. As you can see the cabinet has fantastic colour and patina. All the timbers have been carefully selected and quarter sawn to show the medullary rays within the Oak grain. There is a raised gallery to the sides and back. The gallery to the sides being formed from the the continuation of the side panels which also form the feet. There is a single door to the front with the most delicious carving depicting a fruiting tree. Internally there is a single shelf and the door retains the original brass handle. There is a label to the rear for Henry Barker Ltd and a photo of their shop in 1902 can be found online. A super cabinet in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 71 cm high 39 cm wide 32 cm deep.
