Small Jewellery Rolex Drawers

1900 - 1920
Description

This chest may be small but its made with quality and character. It has a beautiful aged mahogany with gold leaf writing, and unusually it has a slate top. We purchased it from a watch repairer in Hatton Garden that specialised in Rolex and other high end watches. He was retiring after 60 years. With this piece its unknown whether the hand painted letting is original or later touched up, making it a more recent addition to the jewellery chest.
