Description

Impressive late 19th.c. Gothic Revival carved oak credence cupboard c.1880. Two door cupboard fitted with a single shelf inside (depth 15") over a single door cupboard and an open display shelf below. Heavily carved across the front and sides. With Gothic tracery detail to the doors and upper panels, also featuring heraldic devices on the upper doors and fleur de lis at the sides. Large pierced and chased steel lockplates and hinges. Fruiting vine carving to the uprights. Linen fold carving to the lower panels and also repeated at the back of the open shelf. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned an waxed in our workshops. Large original keys supplied.
