Here we have a wonderful George I Oak spice cupboard c 1720. As you can see the cupboard has outstanding colour and patina. The cupboard as you would expect is of pegged mortice and tenon construction. The sides are dovetailed into the top and base. There is a moulding to the top which is also replicated at the bottom. There are original hinges to the door which has lovely through joints and a delicious mixed wood star burst to the centre. The carved shaped top to the fielded panel is particularly good. The door opens to reveal pigeon holes and spice drawers. The drawers are all Oak lined and and of simple nailed construction. A super example and a rare type in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 62 cm high 48 cm wide 24 cm deep.
