This super period antique has a hinged lid above a panelled front, with unusual carved frieze and initialled AW. This charming antique Oak chest stands on raised feet, It has news paper linings dating from 1861 and has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of Oak wax finishing.
