Description

An Oak Jacobean Period antique coffer. Having a three plank rectangular hinged top opening to reveal a storage area. With a wonderful front having a mixture of geometric and split baluster mouldings and with a finely carved arched central panel. Supported on stile feet English circa 1600-1650

Dimensions: 55" wide x 30" high x 21" deep

Condition: This coffer is in stunning condition, a wonderful colour and patination. The internal bottom boards have been replaced at some time and the three plank top has had strengthening bars added.
