South west anatolia, circa 1870-1875 period.

An earlier melas rug of finer weave and seen in many publications and better auctions this type.

Has a light green,light blue and pale yellow.

Has some repairs,low pile and wear but priced accordingly. Ends and sides are secure,been hand washed all in all a tidy collectible rug at sensible money. Perfect pieces £3-6k.
