Description

A small Charles I oak coffer.The three panel lid retaining it's original hinges opening to reveal an interior with candlebox and original floor. The frieze , carved with lunettes, having the original centre lockplate. Twin front panels with centre carved rosettes. The coffer stands on good tall wide stiles . Great colour and patina and only 94cm wide. English Circa 1645.
