Art Deco Scandinavian silver typically features clean geometric lines, vibrant guilloche enamel work, and a focus on functional yet highly decorative objects produced during the 1920s and 1930s.

These pieces are traditionally constructed using sterling silver, finely ground glass enamel often applied over an engine-turned guilloche pattern, and cut or moulded crystal glass bases.

Authenticity is generally verified through makers marks, purity stamps such as 925S or sterling, country of origin stamps like Norway, and the characteristic fine craftsmanship of the translucent enamel.

These small decorative objects work well when displayed on a dining table centre, within a glass-fronted cabinet, or styled on a sideboard as collectible accents adding a touch of metallic colour.

Enamel and silver should be cleaned gently using a soft, dry cloth or mild soapy water, avoiding harsh silver dips or abrasive polishes that can damage the delicate vitreous enamel surface.
