An impressive large Victorian walnut bookcase of excellent proportions. The design features a moulded cornice with a finely reeded frieze and a central partition dividing six adjustable shelves, offering ample space. Raised on a solid plinth base, the bookcase is well constructed and presents a rich, even colour with a warm patina throughout — a handsome and practical piece.

In good antique condition throughout, showing signs of age and surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches. The shelves show some staining and scratches but the piece remains solid and retains its character and antique charm.
