Art Deco jewellery, prominent during the 1920s and 1930s, is characterised by geometric precision, stylised motifs, and a strong emphasis on contrasting metals and gemstones.

Jewellery from this era frequently utilised platinum, yellow gold, and white gold, often pairing old cut diamonds with calibre-cut precious coloured stones.

Authentic pieces typically exhibit hand-cut gemstones such as old European or old mine cuts, hand-carved metalwork, and period-appropriate hallmarks or makers marks.

Antique rings can be paired with modern minimalist bands for a curated, mixed-era stacking look that highlights the unique character of the vintage piece.

Regular professional inspections of the settings ensure the stones remain secure, while gentle cleaning with warm soapy water and a soft brush maintains the metal and stone brilliance.
