Edwardian jewellery, spanning the reign of King Edward VII from 1901 to 1910, is characterised by light, airy motifs, platinum settings, and intricate filigree work designed to mimic lace and garlands.

These rings typically combined yellow gold shanks with platinum-topped mountings to enhance the brilliance of diamonds, alongside coloured gemstones such as sapphires, rubies, and emeralds.

Authentic pieces often feature hand-cut stones such as old mine or old European cuts, handcrafted metalwork, and appropriate hallmarking or characteristic signs of period wear.

An antique cluster ring works well paired with sleek, contemporary bands to create a mixed-era stacked look, or worn alone as a focal statement piece.

Antique jewellery should be cleaned gently using warm soapy water and a soft brush, avoiding harsh ultrasonic cleaners, and stored separately to prevent metal scratching.
